Hello, I’m John Sweeney, but everyone calls me Sweeney… I’m a director of photography based in Bozeman, Montana. I shoot narrative feature films, TV movies and commercials, and travel worldwide to go wherever the story is.

Recent features include Death on the Dearborn, Murder in Nashville, Dead Girl Summer and Trapped in the Rocky Mountains.

On the commercial side I've shot for Pelican, Toyota, LMNT, Domino's, Lululemon, Proper Good & many more.

I light for mood, choose lenses for character, and keep the set laughing :-) If needed I can bring my own camera, lens and drone package.
